Valeria Barbi is an environmental journalist and writer, an expert on biodiversity and climate change. A political scientist and naturalist by training. Author of “What is Biodiversity, Today,” published in 2022 by Edizioni Ambiente and WANE – We Are Nature Expedition, a reportage that took her into the field for 22 months to document the state of biodiversity and the human-nature relationship along the Pan-American Highway, from Alaska to Argentina.
Zoé Foundation organizes meetings and initiatives aimed at the general public to spread a culture of health that can contribute to improving people’s quality of life. For the past three years it has been working on One Health, the interconnection between human, animal and environmental health, and with this in mind it participates in the Hangar Palooza Festival to reflect on the relationship between health, nature and society.
